The Company is responsible for four schools. One is independent, Tonbridge School, and the others are voluntary-aided, the Company appointing the foundation governors who are in the majority on the governing bodies.
The voluntary-aided schools are The Judd School, Tonbridge; The Skinners’ School, Tunbridge Wells; and the Skinners’ Company’s School for Girls in North London.
The schools are supported by the Company in a variety of ways, including the services of its Education Officer, and from its charities.
The Company also provides training opportunities for its governors and plays a wider role in education through the activities of its Education Committee.
