Grant-making charities for individuals

Lawrence Atwell’s Charity provides financial assistance with vocational courses for people aged between 16 & 26 who come from a low income background.

The Hunt & Almshouse Charity provides small grants to people (predominantly women) living alone who are either disabled or in receipt of a state pension. Grants are made for essential household items, computer equipment or mobility equipment.

Sir Thomas Smythe’s Charity is active in 26 designated ecclesiastical parishes in West Kent and provides regular grant support to people in need.
